Toshiba recently unveiled the latest models in its top-selling line of Satellite consumer laptops. The new Satellite line-up offers improved performance, exciting features, style, improved battery life, and eco-efficiency. The new series include the Satellite M and Satellite U Series that offer great multimedia performance and everyday mobility, while the more powerful Satellite A and Satellite P Series, promise to deliver exciting HD entertainment.
Toshiba believes that it has kept the users needs in mind while designing these machines which offer something for everyone. The new Satellite notebooks feature a refreshing new exterior with a redesigned form factor with new premium finishes, such as the Fusion Finish with a new Sonic pattern in Onyx black on all Satellite A, M and P Series laptops and the Textured Finish with Matrix pattern in Luxe Brown available only on the Satellite U Series. Toshiba has incorporated several new features which are available on select models:

Satellite M500
This notebook has a 14-inch widescreen display and measures 1.32-inches thick. The M500 runs on an Intel Core Duo T6500 processor with 3GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM and 160GB (5400rpm) hard disk drive. For connectivity it has a built-in 3G module. The battery on this device is a 6-cell Li-Ion battery. The price starts from $823.99.
Satellite A505
It has a 16-inch widescreen display and measures 1.43-inches thick. The A505 runs on an Intel Core Duo T6500 processor with 4GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM and 320GB (5400rpm) hard disk drive. Graphics are provided by the ATI Radeon HD 4600 GPU. Users won’t run out of battery life soon as this device is powered by a 12-cell battery. The price starts from $719.99.
Satellite L555
The L555 runs on AMD Turion X2 Dual Core Mobile RM-74 processor and has 4GB of DDR2 800MHz memory. It has a 17.3-inch display and offers users 250GB (5400rpm) of hard drive storage space. Like the A505, it also measures 1.43-inches thick. The 6-cell battery variant costs $650 while the one with a 12-cell battery costs $700.
Satellite P505
This notebook model has a magnanimous 18.4" widescreen display which is fuelled by an ATI Radeon HD 4600 GPU and an Intel Core2 Duo P7350 processor. The performance is enhanced by the 6GB DDR2 800MHz RAM. It also offers a mammoth 500GB of HDD (5400rpm) storage space. It is powered by a 6-cell battery and costs $1199.99.
